Thank you for your interest in supporting the ministry!
There are several accounts I've been working to fund these days. If you are interested in places in IV I used to serve, such as Carthage, Parkside, or Whitewater, please check out the latest information by searching the donation site or the chapter site. This account is for my personal ministry budget, including my salary, benefits, travel and other ministry expenses. My primary work now in InterVarsity is serving in the Native Ministries department, which includes various strategic initiatives in things like evangelism, planting, and conferences. Secondarily, I still spend some time most weeks at Lawrence University serving with the Lawrence Christian Fellowship (LCF) in a discipleship group (the "Friday Lunch Discussion") and faculty ministry.
This account funds IV staff ministry at Lawrence University. Adam Umbarger is currently the primary staff at Lawrence (also staffing Bellin in Green Bay), though I would receive a portion of these funds. Please consider giving to this account if you are an alum, as it helps insure continuity of ministry at Lawrence. As we seek to add staff (such as a new female colleague), this account will help onboard them quickly.
These accounts fund ongoing projects in Native InterVarsity. Scholarship accounts in InterVarsity help students attend InterVarsity training events, such as our Would Jesus Eat Frybread conference. There is no administrative overhead taken out of donations to this account -- all gifts go to students. The Initiatives account is used for special projects, such as the purchase of Bibles for students, or funding our coaching program to plant at new campuses.
